Recording the Wildlife of Charnwood and the Surrounding Areas

Founded in 1960, the Club was set up to promote the study and recording of wildlife in Charnwood Forest and the surrounding areas and to encourage a wider interest in natural history including the conservation of wildlife, habitats and geological features.

More Than Meets The Eye

Just Published A new Loughborough Naturalists' Club publication of a survey of the wildlife of Grace Dieu Priory, Grace Dieu Wood, Cademan and Swannymote. Available to purchase. More Than Meets The Eye

From September to April The Club holds monthly meetings on the second Saturday at Quorn Church Rooms. Meetings begin at 7:30 pm and finish about 9:30 pm. Indoor Meetings Diary

Indoor Meetings

Wildlife Walks

On the second Wednesday of the month throughout the year, the Club organises a walk to local sites of interest. They start at 9.30 am and finish around about noon and are generally led by members with knowledge of the site and the wildlife to be seen. Wildlife Walks Diary
